THE PARENTERAL DRUG THERAPY MANUAL (PDTM) IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE THROUGH THE WWW.VHPHARMSCI.COM WEBSITE

To access the PDTM, please follow the following instructions:

1)    For internal access (at Vancouver Acute):
        i)      Go to the VHnet homepage at http://vhnet/.
        ii)     Click on the "Clinical" tab.
        iii)    Click on the "Parenteral Drug Therapy Manual" link.
        Iv)    Click on the Health Service Delivery Area (HSDA) to view the HSDA-specific version of the PDTM
                (i.e. click on Parenteral Drug Therapy Manual – Vancouver Acute). 

2)    For external access (from home):
        i)     Open Internet Explorer.
        ii)    Type in the following website: https://vchconnect.vch-phc.ca/.
        iii)   A login window will appear:
                a)    Username  – enter “vch\your user name” to log onto your computer (e.g. vch\kshalans).
                b)    Password – enter the password you use to log onto your computer.
        iv)    There are 2 ways to access the PDTM:
                a)    From the "Clinical" tab of the VCH Connect Home page.
                        - Click on "Parenteral Drug Therapy Manual" link.
                b)    From the "Polices and Manuals" index.
                        - Under the Vancouver Acute - Clinical Services section.
        v)     Click on the Health Service Delivery Area (HSDA) to view the HSDA-specific version of the PDTM
                (i.e. click on Parenteral Drug Therapy Manual – Vancouver Acute).
